Day 3 - Kanchanaburi to Saraburi

We woke up really late today at around 1100hr. Had too much to drink last night.

There's no way we can manage the intended destination, Khon Kean (about 550km) by today by travelling at 75-80km/h.

We moved off at about 1300hrs. Today's weather is quite cloudy and there was a slight drizzle. I was secretly hoping that we would not have to wear our raincoats today.

After a nice and smooth 105km ride, we took a lunch break at Suphan Buri where the iconic and beautiful Dragon welcomed us. Jimmy also took the chance to change his bike's engine oil.

About 30km before Saraburi, we made a petrol stop and the pump attendant was shocked that Jimmy's honda wave can take in 300B worth of fuel. This is also the first time I pumped gasohol into my steed. So far so good, not much difference felt. But I saved a few baht.

We arrived in town at about 1800hr and checked to the very old Saraburi hotel for 450B situated just opposite the bus station. I quickly did my laundry and we went out for a simple dinner.
After dinner, we took a ride around town to look for a place to drink. The whole town is really quite boring. We didn't even manage to finish 2 beers. As it is getting cold, I think about 23 degrees celcius, we decided to return to the room for an early night.

Along the way back, we bought some of Saraburi's 'famous' curry puff and pork skewers for supper.
